Cinque Terre by Train: Tickets, Card, Stations & Timetable
The railway is the main link between the Cinque Terre villages, La Spezia and Levanto. Use the station sequence for orientation, then check a live timetable for the selected date because service patterns and seasonal crowding change.
Station order
La Spezia → Riomaggiore → Manarola → Corniglia → Vernazza → Monterosso → Levanto
This sequence is a geographic planning aid, not a live timetable. Corniglia station is below the village, so allow time for the climb or local connection.
Single ticket or Cinque Terre Treno MS Card?

Use Trenitalia’s current journey planner or the live results supplied by your booking channel. Recheck on the travel day for engineering work, strikes, crowd controls or service changes. A schematic map cannot show current departure times.
A realistic one-day plan
Choose fewer villages and leave buffer time rather than trying to tick off every stop. Start from the most convenient gateway, account for station stairs and queues, and keep a later alternative train in mind.

Follow the instructions attached to the selected regional ticket or card. Paper and digital products can have different activation or validation requirements. Keep the product and any required identification accessible.
